Creation Part Two

“The heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.” Psalm 19:1

Recently my dad and I attended a celebration of life for someone we knew who had passed away. As we attended and talked, I had such a heavy heart for those who do not know Christ as their Lord and Savior! As Christians, we should always want people to come to know Jesus however, I was just very upset and made aware of how many people in my life around me need to know about the love of Jesus! My dad began to share His testimony with me again, as he has done many times, but this time one part stuck out to me that I hadn’t remembered before! He told me that one night before he knew God, he was working a late-night shift and was on his lunch break at 3 am. He was sitting outside on a picnic table and felt so unhappy. He began to tell me that he was young, with a great job, a new truck, like he was living such a successful life to everyone else yet, he felt like something was missing on the inside. Then he said, he looked up and saw the stars and the sky and said to God, “There has to be something more than just this life.” This part of his story that God wrote in him, spoke to me because our GOD is so amazing and I believe God speaks to us through His creations! (Part One)

He has created the stars, the earth, the moon, the sun, every tree, every fish, and He has created you and me... if you do not already know this, Jesus loves you!!

Jesus is God’s son and God sent Jesus to die on a cross, a terrible and brutal death, for YOU and your sins to be forgiven! You might wonder why Jesus died on the cross, this was so hard for God but He knew the ONLY way for us to gain salvation was through the cross! Aren't you thankful for that today! Jesus came to this earth for that reason; to live a perfect life then to take on your sins and die with them for you. We have ALL sinned and need a savior. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

I have sinned and messed up but I am forgiven ONLY through God's grace because I have accepted Jesus’ gift of forgiveness from the cross and you can have this too!

Jesus lived a perfect life but died a sinner's death... why, because He died on the cross with OUR sins so that we could live in a relationship with Him for eternal life! “For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23. We deserve death and the punishment for sin= death.

GOOD NEWS!!!! The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him, shall NOT perish but have eternal life!!” -John 3:16.

Jesus died on the cross that we deserved and paid the debt we owed! Today, you can be freed from your sin and know a father who is loving and faithful and who DESIRES a relationship with YOU!!

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED.” (Romans 10:9)

I want you to know you can accept the gift of salvation and forgiveness. Despite what you’ve done or how you feel, HE died for you. Jesus loves you and wants to know you today!
